Extensions for slacker gentlemen

Theres nothing more smooth than setting up a playlist with tv series and movies on the laptop which offcourse is hooked up to the tvset. All set for the evening , the soffa is good and comfy and the remotes are ready to work. The absolutely essential accessorie is offcourse a remote to the laptop which makes it possible to stay on the couch for an near unlimited time. Check out the ATI's Remote wonder bob at your lokal store who usually dont have a clue how to use it (my store didnt know anything about the wonder and gave no garanties). But that doesnt matter at all because the installation process is so smooth and simple that anybody can make it without going mad or blind or both. And the price is laughable. Meaning cheap as hell. Again meaning why not use a remote for your pc or Mac? Too lazy? This is for lazy and semi-lazy people guaranteed. Default the remote is compatible with the crappy windows media player and powerpoint etc. But for those searching for alternate players go to doom9.net and downoload Bsplayer and Zoomplayer (download --> launchers --> Media players).

Then head on over to the Remote wonder - all you need for your remote controll site and download plugins for those easy to use players mentioned above (one key commands rule). Then you are all set for the entertainment evening/night......

A room without a RF remote for the pc or Mac is not a room.............

The intensities of televisuality

While waiting for the perfect job and devoting more time to my family which have suffered severely under my selfcentered devotion to work and applying for work (and i sincerely beg for forgivness) televisions seems like the only thing making me relax. Amongst other the fantastic swedish intense thriller Graven is one of the series which really have put northern television on the map with its intens and dark storyline along with awesome casting.

Other series keeping me from insanity is offcourse worth checking out: especially the aesthetic Regnesis everlasting battle with the terror of biological threaths, the classic sci-fi of Battlestar galactica fighting the evil machins and the lightweight evilfighting sci-fi of Stargate atlantis. For those who have an historical interest i recommend the tales of Hornblower. And for those who find the semi-philosophical real world dramas more interesting HBOs The mind of the married man and the australian The Secret life of us might be of interest. For those who missed one of televisions greatest dramas the fantastic dark and eery The Lakes would most certainly bring a richer life once investing in these two seasons on dvd (cheaper when bought seperatly!)

All of them good enough to fight off the longing for the television programmers prime-time battleships to come. Like the long awaited season six of HBO's Sopranos, season five of Six feet under and Showtimes up and comming intriguing lesbian melodrama of The L word's second season.

..........stay in the eye of the storm.............

It seems like i'm going to apply for a Phd. in a few hours. When thats over with, i'm going to build a sundolitt wall for my house which is supposed to arrive february 7. At the same time as working as a builder i'm supposed to apply for two other jobs (in case the Phd. goes up in flames) and prepare three comming jobs (two of them presentations of Mozilla Firefox for NTNU the university in Trondheim) at the same time as i'm supposed to work selling firewood, fireplaces, doors and other fun artifacts so i can afford bread and other things (like music). Hmmmm, and offcourse it is the dreaded Firefox howto we are working on................stormy wheater rules...........
